Nice!
Good to see that you are healing.... Does this mean the pockets are gone too? (or going?) Re: Good News
I guess. The abcess was apparently the big issue of concern. Since it has shrunk by almost half (3.5 cm --> 2 cm), and shows no infected material anymore, I am on the mend, and my doctor said at this point, it doesn't look like I will need surgery. Yay!
I still need to take it easy because I am healing, my lung hurts, and I get exhausted really easily, but I am on the mend. I'm to have another CAT Scan in 4 weeks and my doctor says by then it should probably be gone altogether. She cautioned me not to go back to work until I felt ready. Re: Good News

That's great! I wondered how you were doing off antibiotics. Keep doing whatever you're doing! Maybe you can get some fresh air this week -- it's really starting to feel like spring.
Re: Good News
I used some scientific modeling software to predict what it is going to look like in a couple of weeks or so:
See here. Re: Good News
You nut! :-)
Re: Good News
A month ago, your lips were chapped, swollen, and covered in goose poop. Today, they are healed, normal sized, and clean? Did I guess right?
Seriously, if it means that the spot on your lung is shrinking, then I'm glad you are on the mend. |
