(Assuming there's no challenge and there may yet be.)  Both Allen of Virginia and Burns of Montana have not yet conceded.  Here's the MSNBC story calling it for the Democrats.  As for me, having written 24 articles over the last 36 hours, I'm beat.  Going to take a break from the blog for a few days unless something momentous happens.

Congratulations Democrats, now let's not screw this up.  Do not try to turn our newfound majority into an "impeachment" party.  We saw what happened to the Pubs when they did it back in the 90's and it didn't go so well for them.  Let's take this opportunity to find working compromises with the other party and get some good legislation passed.
