So I worked from home today while recovering from my cold, and I watched the CNN coverage of the attacks in London.  When the newscaster Soledad O'Brien came on, I immediately thought to myself "wow, she's pretty."  But that fizzled as it became apparent throughout the coverage that Soledad's job was to say "body parts" over and over again...

It didn't seem to matter what was being discussed, it always came back to carnage.  And only when she was on the screen.  Now I realize that these guys run out of things to say when big news happens but they have to say something.  So Soledad kept mentioning the eyewitness accounts and of course "body parts" and "screaming".

It's amazing how fast she went from "pretty" to "harpy".

Now to be fair, apparently tracking the death toll was her job, but ugh, what a job.  I rapidly came to the conclusion that no matter how cute the anchors are, I can't stand American news coverage.
