Lynnea Plans Her New Room
I love this picture. Here's Neya relaxing on the couch with a catalog of kid's furniture.

Re: Lynnea Plans Her New...
Anonymously picking on little kids. Wow that's some kind of chickenshit.

I didn't know you were redoing 'Neya's room! What fun!
My advice: make sure it will grow with her. When I redid M's room back when she was about 8, I think, we did a princess stencil (it was just flowers, not actual princesses or crowns or anything), but she felt she'd outgrown it last (? I think) year, and so we modified it with more colors -- her room was pink and white with some blue in the stencils, and we added the way cooler (;-) green and purple. So if you don't want to enjoy the pain of redoing the room in another year, I would go more neutral with the colors and not do anything permanent like a stencil (I think there are stickers you can put on walls if she wanted a wall decoration), and do most of the color and style-type decorating with the accessories -- curtains, maybe one of those canopy things over the bed that hangs from the ceiling and decorate that with fabric and accessories like flowers or beads that you can remove/change... that sort of thing. Just my free advice, worth every penny!! Re:Lynnea Plans Her New Room

I see this was actually posted three years ago - how'd her room turn out?
Re: Re:Lynnea Plans Her New...
We weren't seriously planning to remodel her room, this was just idle afternoon dreaming. But a remodel will soon be in order I think.
