These were the provisional names given to the kittens that the shelter was supposed to hold for us.  Since Wednesday I've had to keep reminding my daughter not to get too attached to them because for any number of reasons these might not be the kittens coming home with us.

I guess it was fortunate I did so.  Due to a mix up at the shelter, Dolly (my favorite) was promised to another family.

So we had to select a kitten to replace her, but we told the folks at the shelter that if for some reason the other people decided they didn't want Dolly, to call us and we would take her.
