Vanessa in Pieces

Had to stop at LeBlanc's Auto Body this morning to get my kid's carseat from Vanessa. When I went in there they had removed Vanessa's headlights, grille, and bumper assembly (sorry, I didn't get any pictures)...

The left fender was already resituated as was the hood, and they were sanding her hood down for repainting. Despite being in pieces she looked better already. They said the damage underneath the exterior was not bad at all, and assured me the car would be good as new when they were done. Hang in there baby...

In the meantime, I'm driving this thing:

It's a Pontiac Grand-Am that I picked up at U-Save Auto Rental of Fitchburg this morning. It's okay, but it can't hold a candle to my Vanessa.

It's strictly a business arrangement. It's only carrying my water for a fee.

Insurance company covering that as well?

Not on your life! They said that wasn't covered on my policy, but that I was welcome to try and get the other guy's insurance to pay for it.
