Okay I have this problem, I admit it. When I step into the shower in the morning, and that deliciously warm and soothing water washes over me, it eats my brain and I turn into a shower zombie. Five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes... more »

I've been telling myself that when the weather got better I would give her a good washing by hand. Today was the day... more »

While sitting in the waiting room at the car dealership this morning, and feeling a little peckish, I glanced over at the vending machine. Therein was a Snickers bar that was saying to me "Not Going Anywhere for Awhile?"
After buying the candy bar I looked at the change, and played a little game that I've done for as long as I remember... more »

The fact that I had just spotted them in March, when they are getting ready to leave, reminded me of how little I've paid attention... more »

Seen today: one house sparrow courting the ladies outside my office, and one northern cardinal doing the same in my backyard. This afternoon while picking up Neya at school, I heard a killdeer singing, and a blue jay singing the springtime queedle-queedle song.
