Thanks to Neal and Pat for these reports...

DRACUT, MA:

Pat got there at about 7:30 this morning. Voting was in the gymnasium of a Junior High School.  There was a very long line of cars to get in.  Four precincts were all reporting to the same location.  Ballots were the fill-in-the-ovals-with-magic-marker variety--same as we use in Fitchburg.

NEWTON, MA:

Neal hit the polls at about 8:15 this morning.  Not crowded at all, Neal and his mother-in-law were in and out in just a few minutes.  Again the voting station was a local school, however the pull-the-lever type mechanical vote machines had been replaced with fill-in-the-oval ballots.
