I was on the edge of my seat throughout.  Every pitch, every at bat, I found myself muttering encouragements... as if someone could actually hear me.  But the best and most genuine happiness of the evening was watching the Sox pour out of the dugout and jump with joy.  I think I will remember the smiles on the faces of Damon, Ramirez, Martinez and the other players for a very long time.

Congratulations Red Sox.  Your amazing performance touched even a guy who is not a sports fan.  Partly from your dedication, partly from your obvious skill, and partly from your joyful exuberance.  Congratulations, and all the best.  A lot of my friends are sports nuts and rabid sox fans, and I can't imagine how happy you've made them.
