Lynnea got this inflatable slide as a gift from Mom and Dad sometime back. Last weekend she got to try it out. It inflates like a moonwalk, off a running air pump. And as you can see, you attach hose to it for water fun. The green pontoon thing on the ground next to it is a bag of water, it basically acts as a weight to keep the slide from tipping or moving when kids play on it. There's another on the opposite side.

Water Spray

The hose attachment feets into this yellow strip which squirts water in a series of streams. It keeps the slide wet and slippery, and your kid cool and happy. Quite a bit of it will pool at the base of the slide. The tarp we set out isn't really necessary, but it helps keep the slide clean.

Fun Overdose

As you can see, Lynnea thought the world of this slide... here she is bouncing for joy. The rear of the slide has these foot-holes and handles to help kids climb to the top.

Lounging

Here Lynnea demonstrates the proper technique for lounging in the puddle that collects on the surface. Sitting in it depresses it so more water will collect.

Hold Your Breath?

Of course the best way to use the slide is to slide on it. Although I don't think holding one's breath is really necessary, but Neya's not taking any chances.

I'd say the mask probably isn't necessary either, but here Lynnea demonstrates why she wears it by going down the slide on her belly. As you can see, you get a faceful of water at the end. All in all she really enjoyed the slide and I'm sure we'll use it again.
